At least six Turkish soldiers were killed on Thursday in an attack by suspected Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) rebels on their convoy in the southeastern region of Diyarbakir, security sources said.
The attack, which struck the convoy as it was travelling through the Lice region of Diyarbakir, came a day after a bombing blamed on Kurdish militants killed 28 people in the capital Ankara.
