Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos said Wednesday he is traveling to Cuba to try to accelerate an agreement to end a half-century long conflict with the leftist FARC rebel group.
"I'll make a stopover in Havana for a key meeting with negotiators with the objective of accelerating the end of the conflict," Santos said on his Twitter account.
