Russian forces have struck 112 targets in war-torn Syria since launching the start of a bombing campaign against the Islamic State group last week, the defence minister told Vladimir Putin Thursday.
"Strikes have hit 112 targets from September 30 until today," defence minister Sergei Shoigu said in televised comments. "The intensity of the strikes is increasing."
