India's economy grew by 7.4 percent in the second quarter, official figures showed on Monday, outperforming China and slightly ahead of analysts' expectations.
Growth in the three months to the end of September quickened to 7.4 percent year-on year from 7.0 percent in the previous quarter, according to the statistics ministry data.
