The leader of an anti-Shiite militant group behind some of Pakistan's worst sectarian attacks was killed by police in the eastern city of Lahore on Wednesday, officials said.
"Malik Ishaq, along with 13 other sectarian militants including two of his sons, were killed in the early hours of Wednesday morning," Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada told AFP.
Two other senior police officials confirmed the incident.
