Microsoft on Thursday reported a 25 percent plunge in quarterly profits as the company continued to navigate away from its role as a software seller to a services model.
The US tech giant posted a net profit of $3.8 billion as revenues dipped six percent to $21.7 billion, in results which sent Microsoft shares down 4.6 percent in after-hours trade.
