Turkey will hold snap legislative elections on November 1 after talks to form a coalition government failed, the election authority announced Tuesday.
The head of the Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) Sadi Guven confirmed the date in a statement after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's decision a day earlier to call the polls.
