The United Arab Emirates on Tuesday banned its citizens from travelling to Lebanon and reduced its diplomatic presence in Beirut.
The move came shortly after Saudi Arabia urged its citizens to leave Lebanon, in a move seen as a reaction to growing tensions between Riyadh and its regional rival Iran.
