Several vehicles were set on fire on Friday in several streets of Guadalajara, Mexico's second biggest city, prompting authorities to urge people to stay home in the drug violence-plagued region.
Authorities did not say whether the buses and trucks were torched by a drug cartel but such tactics have been used by gangs in other parts of the country following major arrests.
