Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inaugurated Wednesday a handcrafts fair at an Omar Afandy branch in Ahmed Orabi Street in Muhandeseen district.
Dubbed Creative Egypt, the exhibition groups crafts of more than 16,000 craftsmen who represent more than 45 traditional crafts in 17 governorates.
Kilims, leather and marble products and embroidery are among the displayed.
The ministers of industry, investment, local development, social solidarity, manpower, youth were present during the inauguration.
