Mauritania, Egypt sign agreement for environment cooperation

Mauritania and Egypt signed a framework agreement for environmental cooperation during the 6th African environment ministers conference that was held in Cairo over the past two days, said the Mauritanian environment minister.
In statements after returning from the Cairo meetings, the minister said the meetings were of importance as they tackled issues related to environment protection.
The four-day event kicked off Saturday with the participation of 54 African countries.
