Manpower Minister Nahed el Ashry on Sunday said 291,253 job opportunities were provided for young graduates within five months nationwide.
During her visit to Menoufia, the minister added that 31,061 jobs have not been occupied yet.
A cooperation protocol was signed with the International Labour Organization to provide decent jobs for the youth of Egypt, the minister said.
Jobs will be provided in six governorates, including Menoufia, she added.
The minister was accompanied by Director of the ILO Cairo Office Peter Van Rooij to meet with Menoufia Governor Hesham abdel Baset to discuss the protocol.
Ashry said that the ministry provided 5,000 jobs at the new Suez Canal project, and revived 72,000 job applications for the Suez Canal axis development project.
