The meeting tackled latest economic developments in Egypt and the preparations for the Sharm el-Sheikh conference, due to be held on March 13-15, and aimed at shoring up the Egyptian economy.
Ellwood stressed his country's keenness on taking part in the conference with a senior-level delegation, despite the difficulty of traveling of senior British officials abroad because of preparations of British general elections in May.
