The extraordinary assembly of Egypt's famous biscuit maker Bisco Misr company has voluntarily approved being delisted from the Egyptian bourse.

In a statement referred to the bourse, the assembly said it approved purchasing shares of the remaining shareholders at 89.86 per share, a price which is 14.86 higher than the fair value of the share set by the Pharos Corporate.

In January, the US Kellogg company bought 85 percent of Bisco Misr shares.

The extraordinary assembly endorsed amending articles 7, 21 and 26 of the firm's statutes.
