Main index of Amman Stock Exchange rose 2.5 points during past week's operations and the daily trade also posted marginal increase of 0.13 percent, according to weekly figures of the bourse, publicized on Friday.
Benchmark for the week closing rose to 1,918.2 points, compared with 1,915.
7 points of the previous week; an increase of 0.13 percent.
As to sectors, the main index of the financial sector increased 0.04 percent, the industries 1.97 percent and that of the services 0.39 percent.
Volume of daily trading amounted to approximately USD 11.8 million, compared with USD 13.2 million the week before; with a decline proportion of 9.
Overall volume of trade of the week stood at some USD 59.6 million, in contrast to USD 66.1 million the week before.
Number of traded shares reached 50.3 million, done through 20,02918 deals.
As to sectors' contributions in volume of trade, the financial sector came first, 48 percent of the overall trade, followed by the industries, 28.7 percent, and lastly the services, 23.3 percent.
Comparing prices of closing of the trading companies, amounting to 182, with the previous closing, stock price of 68 ones rose and those of 74 others dropped.
