Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 8.48 points, or 0.26 percent, to close at 3,245.45.
A total of 2.19 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 22 billion Singapore dollars (961 million U.S. dollars).
Decliners led gainers 202 to 195, while 557 others finished unchanged.
