Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 9.41 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 3,188.04.
A total of 1.91 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 29 billion Singapore dollars (1.01 billion U.S. dollars).
Losers outnumbered gainers 232 to 209, while 510 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 23.16 points, or 0.73 percent, to close at 3,178.63 on Tuesday.
