Last week, Iranian First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi was quoted by Fars News Agency (FNA) as announcing that Iran’s non-oil exports witnessed an eye-catching growth in the last Iranian year (ended on March 20, 2012) despite the sanctions and restrictions imposed by the West on Tehran.
“Our non-oil exports which amounted to $17bln in the year 1390 (March 2011 – March 2012) increased to $53bln in the year 1391 (which ended March 20),” Rahimi said.(
