The Dutch government is contributing an extra 10 million euro to help Syrian refuges who have fled their country, Dutch media reported.
"The situation is extremely serious and threatens to deteriorate further," Dutch humanitarian aid minister Lilianne Ploumen said.
The money will go to the UN's refugee organisation. Some 400,000 Syrians have sought refuge in Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.
The Netherlands had donated 13.5 million euro for the Syrian refugees.
