Six Daesh militants were killed in armed clashes with Afghan security forces in restive Helmand province, Khaama reported on Monday.
Daesh militants assaulted security check posts in Garah area of Kajaki District yesterday which engulfed a gun battle between the two sides, the Afghan army said in a statement.
Two Kalashnikovs were seized. The statement did not not specify if security forces have suffered casualties in the clash or not.
