A clandestine prisoner-swap deal was clinched between Houthis and Qaeda, Aden Alghad newspaper reported on Thursday.
The deal was struck on Wednesday in Sayun District in the Yemeni governorate of Hadramawt.
Under the deal, Qaeda handed over 71 prisoners to Houthis. The latter handed over 50 prisoners to Qaeda.
Sources said this is the first deal of the kind between the two sides.
The two sides have not officially announced the deal yet.
