A Libyan police officer was kidnapped Thursday by six militants of the terrorist Daesh group in Wadi Marsit, southwest of Tripoli.
Major Amer El Bakkoush was driving his car when Daesh militants stopped him. Another policeman was in the car alongside Bakkoush but he managed to flee the scene.
Residents clashed with Daesh militants and seized their vehicle.
