The Iraqi interior ministry on Wednesday said 14 Daesh militants were killed in a raid on their positions in Tel Abu Garad neighbourhood in Salahuddine governorate.
In statements to MENA, Iraqi Interior Ministry Spokesman Saad Maan said the Iraqi police troops shelled rockets on the hideouts of Daesh, killing 14 elements.
He said the joint police troops sieged Tel Abu Garad and shelled it with rockets and hunted down other elements who fled the scene to neighboring areas.
