Iraqi forces killed 55 Daesh militants during military operations in Salahuddin and Anbar provinces in northern and western Iraq on Monday, according to a statement by the Iraqi Defense Ministry.
Terrorist groups attacked a military force of Degla Operations Command but the army forces succeeded in repelling the attack and killing 25 terrorists, the statement said.
The rest of terrorists were killed in other security operations, it added.
