Iraqi forces foiled a suicide attempt by Daesh militant group against a security headquarters in Al Anbar in western Iraq, killing seven suicide bombers, a security source said Thursday.
The attack took place late on Wednesday ad it was targeting the headquarters of Battalion 18 of Iraqi police, he said.
First, they targeted the place with mortar shells and machine guns then seven suicide bombers tried to blow themselves up but they were all killed, he added.
In Baghdad, one civilian was killed and eight others were wounded in a bomb blast.
