Iraqi forces managed on Tuesday to fully control the second al Dhubat neighborhood in northern Fallujah.
Anti-terror forces liberated the neighborhood and raised the Iraqi flag on its buildings, the spokesman for the joint operations command said.
About 11 terrorists were killed, Yehia Zubaidi said.
He added that the forces are advancing on the northwestern axis to restore the train station.
