Kurdish Peshmerga forces repelled an armed attack of Daesh militants Saturday in western Kirkuk in northern Iraq, a military source said.
One of the Peshmerga forces was killed in the attack.
A group of Daesh gunmen tried to attack a Peshmerga site in Kirkuk and was driven away by the Kurdish forces.
The jets of international coalition, meanwhile, shelled Daesh gatherings in Shalalat area, killing many of them, the source said.
