The US-led international forces launched an unprecedented raid against a camp of Assad forces in western Deir Ezzor province, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Three Syrian soldiers were killed in the raid, the first to target Assad forces since the international coalition against Daesh was launched almost a year ago.
It was not clear whether the camp was mistakenly hit by the international coalition or not.
The international coalition has not make any comment on the raid so far.
