Syria's Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi on Friday said that Daesh terrorists have destroyed about 20% of the ancient city of Palmyra's monuments.
In statements to reporters, al-Barazi said that the Syrian authorities cannot currently estimate the cost of restoring Palmyra's monuments until demining operations are done.
Nearly 60 world organizations offered to help Syrian authorities in restoring Palmyra's monuments, he added.
