Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa on Friday called for highlighting Egypt's civilizational, cultural and historical monuments.
The minister paid a tour to Mohammed Ali Mosque, accompanied by Antiquities Minister Mamdouh El Damaty and Cairo Governor Galal Saeed.
Egypt has an human heritage that must be preserved and restored, the minister added.
