Egypt's Ambassador to Japan Ismail Khairat on Saturday inaugurated an Egyptian artifacts exhibition at Tokyo National Museum.
The exhibition shows 200 Pharaonic rare artifacts documenting the life of Cleopatra and other Egyptian queens, especially Nefertiti and Hatshepsut.
The artifacts were collected from 38 international museums and exhibitions from more than 14 countries to be one of the largest exhibitions of its kind in the world.
Japanese and international officials and figures interested in the Egyptian civilization attended the exhibition inauguration.
