A Jewish center reopened in India's financial hub Mumbai on Tuesday, six years after it was stormed by Pakistani militants during a bloody terror attack.
Some 25 rabbis from across Asia gathered at the newly renovated venue and pledged to convert it into a 2.5 million U.S. dollars museum, local TV channels reported.
Six Jews, who were present at the center at the time, were killed by the terrorists in November 2008 Mumbai massacre, before Indian security forces gunned down two militants.
Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his pregnant wife Rivkah, who ran the Chabad House Jewish cultural center, were killed in the attack, but their two-year-old son Moshe miraculously survived.
Over 170 people were killed by 10 Pakistani militants during the Mumbai mayhem.
