A number of the late writer’s friends and fans will talk about Aslan and his work.
Ibrahim Aslan died aged 77 on 8 January 2012 after taking medicine for a heavy cold which damaged his already weakened heart.
Aslan is considered one of the best writers of the 1960s generation. He was best known for his novels Bohayrat Al-Massa (The Night’s Lake) and Malek Alhazaeen (Sad Malek), which was made into the famous movie KitKat, a jewel of Egyptian cinema in the 1990s.
