London - Arab Today
General Roméo Dallaire is best known for his book, Shake Hands with the Devil, which recounts his experience of commanding the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR) during the 1994 genocide. At this meeting he will be focusing on his contact with child soldiers and The Roméo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative, which he founded in 2007 with the mission to end the recruitment and use of child soldiers globally.
