The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) organized a ceremony for honouring its ICT Division that received both the ISO27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems and the Network Middle East 2011 Innovation Award for the Best Wireless Implementation in the Middle East.
The Network Innovation Awards 2011 included 21 categories that span end-user implementation, and company and product categories. Winners were judged by a team of industry judges, premier networking professionals and industry analysts who have worked and studied the region's IT adoption and usage over many years.
"I am proud of the success of our ICT staff who receive the most distinguished regional and international recognition for applying the ICT best practices and the latest solutions," said Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, ADEC Director General, during the ceremony held at Emirates Palace.
