Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science has expressed sincere thanks and appreciation for the historical position of the Republic of France to vote in favor of Palestine to admit it as a
permanent member of UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
The Prince made these remarks during a reception of the Ambassador of France to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bertrand Besancenot in Riyadh yesterday.
"Not only Muslims and Arabs, but also the entire world views with admiration and appreciation this stance of France, which remains a model of just will, respecting the dignity of human beings for the right to life on their land and to acquire their full human, educational and cultural rights. .
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest and cooperation in the educational field, the role of the Arab World Institute in Paris to promote relations between the Arabs and France and Europe in general and particularly in the fields of education, culture and science.
The meeting was attended by the Advisor on Cooperation and Cultural Action at the French embassy, Jean Louis Ave.
