The European Union has granted Egypt a sum of 117 million euros to develop the technical education, said Technical Education Minister Mohamed Yousef on Thursday.
During a visit to Gharbiya on Thursday, Yousef said that a cooperation plan between the ministry and the EU as well as Italian associations and businessmen was concluded.
The plan is meant to develop the technical education in Egypt and provide job opportunities for the graduates of the technical schools, he noted.
