Meeting Quneitra governor Maan Salaheddin on Saturday, the students voiced appreciation for the advantages granted to them at state universities, namely the free education and freedom to choose the specialization they want regardless of the high school average.
Head of the administrative committee of the Golan students, Zaki al-Khatib, from the occupied village of al-Ghajar, conveyed the Golan students' pride in the seal on their university certificate, affirming Golan people's resolve to stand up to Israeli practices.
Amal Monzer, a student from Ein Qenieh, conveyed the love of Golan people to ''every single grain of the Syrian land'', voicing pride in the Syrian army; the defender of the homeland.
