In its endeavours to broaden its educational horizons, Ajman University of Science and Technology has signed three Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs, with three Universities in South Korea.

Osama Salman, Vice President of the Ajman University of Science and Technology, signed the Memoranda which outline the facilitation of student and faculty exchange. The institutions will also be conducting joint conferences, seminars, workshops and research projects, amongst other avenues of cooperation. Similarly, knowledge sharing will be enabled by ensuring bilateral exchange of research results, academic materials and publications issued by both institutions.

The first MoU was with Sookmyung Women's University, a private university in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1906, Sookmyung is Korea's first royal private educational institution for women. Today, it has 100,000 alumni and 13,000 currently enrolled students. Dr. Sun Hye Hwang, President, Sookmyung Women's University signed the MoU to initiate the mutually beneficial exchanges of faculty and student.

Ajman University also entered into an MoU with CHA University, a leading institution of teaching and research with over half a century of experience.
