Head of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) Essam el Amir on Saturday referred reports on power failure at Cairo's ERTU building to an ad hoc committee for investigation.
The outcome of investigation will be sent the Public Prosecution if sabotage acts or dereliction of duty were proven.
Voltage fluctuation was behind the incident, the ERTU head said.
